The Present In early 2006 the World Series of Darts was announced. This unprecedented event featured, national prime time television coverage, and a first place prize of one million dollars. David saw this as an opportunity to be a pioneer in the development of darts as a major spectator sport in the United States. With only 16 spots open to US players he would have to win an open qualifier outright to gain his place on stage. With his goal in sight, David kicked off the year with an impressive streak of 9 singles finals out of 11 events, including winning the World Series of Darts Qualifier in Chicago. With a ranking of 1st in his region and as high as 23rd nationally David is set to take his darts to new heights this year. The Future As they say the future is always being written. But if David’s past performance is any indication, events to come are promising indeed. With major sponsorship, renewed dedication, and a million dollars looming on the horizon, all is possible. Stay Tuned… |
