The Journey
What a wild and exciting few months since I hit that final double 8 to gain a spot on stage at the Mohegan. As an exclusive, Id like to share with you the journey from my eyes. So here is the tale of how an ordinary family man, and casual darter, finds himself under the bright lights on the big stage

Wednesday evening my journey begins with 5 good friends at my side, and 15hours of road between me and the answers to all the questions asked so frequently over the past few months. Do I have a chance? Well I’m about to find out...

As we travel through the night, I reflect back on all the practice and preparation of the preceding months. Have I done everything possible to prepare? Am I ready for this challenge? As the odometer counts down the miles to my destination, thoughts turn to dreams of destiny. As I awake, somewhere between the mountains and the sunrise, a peaceful feeling washes over me and for the first time I know I am ready.

The Nap That Was'nt
Arriving to the hotel around 1:30pm we are all tired from the 15hour journey. My schedule I received via mail requires me for an interview and photo shoot at 9:30pm. After winding down from the trip I decide a long nap and good dinner are in order.

My nap is cut short when my phone rings, its Isen Veljic asking where I am. I tell him I’m taking a nap and he informs me that my interview is in 15 minutes. Apparently I had received an old schedule and the updated version calls for me to appear at 6:15 not 9:30. A quick shower and I’m off on the 20minute ride from my hotel to the Mohegan. So much for rest and food.
