World Series of Darts Qualifier Mar 5th 2006

The time has come! All the practice has been put in and either I have the chops to qualify or I don't. Having enjoyed a good nights sleep I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day's events. This was certainly going to be a tough test of both my darting skill and my mental stamina.

I headed down to the dart hall early to register and get warmed up. Well, I thought I headed down early but apparently everyone else had the same idea as the place was packed already. Dartboards had spilled over from the banquet hall into the hallway and there was tungsten flying everywhere.

After registration, I decided to go find a board and get warmed up. The first thing I noticed is it must have been over 90 degrees in the dart hall. Apparently, the air conditioning was on the blink and with all those bodies it gets quite warm.

A quick look around the dart hall and it was clear to all that the talent gathered was abundant. Players from all over the country converged on the Windy City for their shot at winning a million dollars.
